The Campaign for Better Transport
The national environmental transport campaign (formerly Transport 2000). Publishes bi-monthly magazine Transport Retort with lots of campaiging information, as well as reports and briefings on solutions to traffic problems.
Children\'s Play Council

CTC - The UK\'s national cyclists\' organisation
Publishes a wide range of policy reports on cycling. Can give advice on cycle friendly road design. Has extensive range of local contacts.
Environmental Transport Association (ETA)
Environmental alternative to AA, RAC or Green Flag: a green car and bicycle rescue service. "Campaigning for a sound and sustainable transport system."

Living Streets (The Pedestrians\' Association)
The Living Streets initiative is a clear and urgent challenge to the authorities who, for decades, have allowed traffic priorities to overwhelm our local streets and public places, and failed to keep them clean and safe.
Road Danger Reduction Forum
Forum for road safety officers seeking to reduce road danger at source by promoting environmentally sustainable transport.
RoadPeace
Supports family and friends of road accident victims. Campaigns for better enforcement of traffic laws and for changes to legislation.

Sustrans
Co-ordinator of the National Cycling Network. Also runs Safe Routes to School programme.
